Free (June 2025)

We have a few eatables to give away from our tiny garden. Must pick up.

  1. Green beans. I have enough to give one small ziploc bag (Quart size) per family.
  2. Peppers: These are HOT! So hot that you will choke eating them. I do not know the name of them but they started light, then turned orange, and now red. They are small. Possible ghost or habanero peppers. I have 4 available right now. I will most likely not grow them again. Eat at your own risk. GONE
  3. I could possibly have cucumbers and squash available in a few weeks that are extras. Limit of 3-4 per person due to my small garden.
  4. Purple basil: I have been giving purple basil away like crazy on Facebook. We used some to cook with, I let it grow too tall, and it’s been so hot that it tastes a little bitter. I trimmed them down and dried some and it tastes better dried. If you would like purple basil to dry and eat or to root your own plants, send a message under our contact page. I pulled up 20-30 plants but I still have at least 20 left to donate the leaves to. Don’t plan on eating the leaves raw because they are bitter right now.
  5. I have a few flowers left. I will not cut them until you are ready to pick them up.
  6. Most of this is cross posted on Facebook so it’s first come first serve

FREE-July 2025:

We still have lots of purple basil. FREE. It’s tasting a little bitter due to the heat but you can still dry it and grind it for baking or root it for more next year.

Flowers (even the drought tolerant ones) are all dying back and I will not have anymore flowers this year.

I have a few FREE cucumbers. They are Boston Pickling.

Peppers are forming on the pepper vine. Super hot tiny peppers that eventually turn red. There are 4-7 on the vine now. FREE. I will not pick them until you get here.

I will not have any squash this year except for our family.

I will not pick the basil or peppers until you are in my driveway.
